2007 - 2008 Calendar
There will be no lessons on days
marked in BLACK

You may choose from Private lessons, Semi-private lessons (2 in a class), three person group classes or 4 person group classes.  4 person group classes are only available to those students that have not been with a KFA instructor before.  All former KFA students must choose between a 3 person group, semi-private class or a private class.  Private classes are only available to former KFA students.  GROUP CLASSES WILL ONLY MEET ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS.  If you cannot attend your lesson, you will forfeit that lesson. NO MAKE-UPS will be given unless your instructor must cancel. All injuries should be made known to your instructor and the office manager as soon as possible to qualify for make-ups.

Lessons will be structured over the 8 month course (30 weeks of lessons). The lessons will begin in August and end the last week in March. Beth”s lessons will not begin until the week of August 27 due to TEAM USA Training.  An optional session will start in April and run through the end of June.

Lessons will be given on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Team training may be scheduled on additional days.  Beth  will only be offering lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Lessons will be offered at Two Locations:

1. North Facility - Soddy Daisy
2. East Facility - Ooltewah / E. Brainerd

Lesson payments will be due at the beginning of the month. Lessons will be given by your primary instructor with assistants filling in as needed.  Payments not received by the second lesson will result in a $25.00 late fee being assessed.

ALL Students (Even if you have been taking lessons all summer) must undergo a pre-training evaluation to enter lessons. Mandatory evaluations will be held July 17-20 and July 23 and 24, 2007 from 6:00 pm until :900 pm. EVALUATIONS WILL BE AT THE SODDY DAISY FACILITY ONLY. You must choose an evaluation time on your application. Important paperwork will be emailed along with confirmation of your evaluation time. **Students who complete their evaluations prior to July 25 will have priority scheduling. 

Additional EVALUATION DATE:  July 30 from 6 to 8 PM.

 The final week for evaluations will be July 31 through August 3, but all evaluations will be by appointment only

Students accepted to a program will be notified 2 days prior to the start of lessons by email or phone.
 

APPLICATION PROCESS

Application is for all 8 months (30 weeks). To be considered for any program you must return the enclosed application form to:

All times and programs are on a first come first serve basis. All students must include a Basic Membership Fee ($50.00 for former students, $65.00 for new students) to be considered for any program. If you do not include your fee, you will not be considered registered. If you are not selected for any program, your fee will be returned to you. If you are selected and wish not to attend, you will forfeit your fee.  Those students who paid a registration fee during the months of May, June, July and August of 2007 do not have to re-pay the registration fee.  Registration fees are good for one year.

   COST OF LESSONS:

   PITCHING:

4 Students (New KFA students only) for 45 minutes - $120.00 per month per student
3 Students (all ages – new and former KFA students) for 45 minutes - $140.00 per month per student

***GROUP CLASSES WILL ONLY MEET ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS.
2 Students (semi-private classes) for 45 minutes (30 minutes instructor participation) $160.00 per month per student

1 Student Private Class for 30 minutes (20 minute instructor participation) - $200.00 per month.

   HITTING, CATCHING, DEFENSIVE/FIELDING TRAINING:

2 Students MAX (all ages) for 45 minutes $125.00 per month per student per program

4 Students MAX (all ages) for 45 minutes $75.00 per month per student per program.

1 Student Private Class for 30 minutes $160.00 per month.

Combination Hitting / Defense Classes will meet on Tuesdays or Thursdays ONLY from 4:45 to 5:30 and 5:30 to 6:15.  This class will have a maximum of 6 students per class.  The cost is $60.00 per month per student.

ROOKIES PLAY TOO! – Our first one hour class devoted to 4-7 year old BOYS AND GIRLS  that will introduce them to physical movements, skills and just plain fun in baseball and softball.  This class will meet every week on Saturday mornings in the months of September, October, November, January and February.  Cost is $60.00 per month per student.  Rookies play too will only be offered at the Soddy Facility.

Each sister may take 10% off their monthly fee. ***

   TEAM TRAINING:
Offered twice per month. Each team will require coach participation. Teams are limited to 15 players for training. Each team training session will last for 2.5 hours (30 minutes will be utilized for proper warm-up). Each player will pay $35.00 per month. Teams will pay a minimum of $350.00 per month and a maximum of $525.00 per month. All payments are due prior to the first training session of the month. Coaches will be required to indicate what skill or skills the team needs to focus on for training each session, or you may have the staff at KFA design a training program for you.

   KFA MEMBERSHIPS:

Students who desire to take lessons at KFA must at purchase a basic membership.
