Jamie Qualls (Reed), another former Chattanooga State Lady Tiger brings a strong college, high school and travel experience to her classes as she has proven herself to be an effective teacher for beginning through advanced students. Jamie has been the Assistant Coach at Chattanooga State for the past 2 years where she oversees the hitters, slappers, catchers and outifelders.  This year is Jamie's 5th year as lead catching, hitting and fielding instructor, specializing in teaching left-handed slappers and team training. Jamie was a Co-Captain of the Chattanooga State Squad as a sophomore player and was named a TJCCAA Academic All-American at Chattanooga State in 2002. As an outfielder and catcher at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School, she was named 4 times to Who’s Who in Sports, was an NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete her sophomore through senior years, was a 2 time member of the North Georgia Softball Team and a North Georgia Player of the Week. Jamie played summer ball for the nationally known Parker Eagles and finished 4th in the nation with the Mustangs in 1999. Jamie is an outstanding teacher of the game with an eye for solving problems. Jamie instructs all aspects of the game.
