Dennis Waters is in his sixth year as a pitching and hitting instructor for KFA. Dennis has coached girls softball in the Chattanooga area for a number of years, including a stint as Assistant Coach at Chattanooga State when the Tigers finished 4th in the Nation.  Dennis has been working under the direction of Beth Keylon-Randolph for the past 8 years. Dennis has been involved with winning teams during his coaching years and has won several tournament championships.

Dennis attended Chattanooga City High School where he participated and lettered in baseball and football. He continued his career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he was a scholarship athlete and still holds several school records. After college, he has remained active by participating in men’s baseball, modified and slow-pitch softball. Dennis now concentrates his efforts in several facets of youth girls fastpitch softball in the Chattanooga area.

Dennis is committed to the development of youth players and believes that the foundation of all winning is built on fundamentals. His experience, knowledge and ability to relate to the youth will enable him to help KFA Softball athletes achieve their goals. Dennis brings a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm to the lessons. He has a great mind and a passion for the game. He is very positive and encourages each student to give a little more effort on a daily basis.
